Returns, Repairs, Warranty & Disposal

Returns
If you wish to return any items that have been ordered or supplied incorrectly for either a credit or an exchange, please contact our Virgin Media Coordinator on 020 8833 2647 or crissie.webb@millsltd.com, who will issue you with an RMA number which needs to be quoted on all paperwork. The equipment needs to be returned to Mills Ltd with the RMA number visible. In the case of items that have been ordered incorrectly, a collection and restocking charge may apply.

 

Repairs
Assetised Items:
Follow the standard calibration and repair process via HILTI. See the Virgin Media Test Equipment Support Intranet Site for further details.

For Non-Assetised Items:
Contact our Virgin Media Coordinator on 020 8833 2647 or crissie.webb@millsltd.com to obtain a reference number prior to sending us the equipment. Once Mills has received the equipment for repair we will forward it to the repair centre for a quotation. We will always contact you for approval and will provide a quote for any non-warranty repair work which will require a purchase order to be received before beginning the repair work.

Warranty
Anything supplied by Mills comes with a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. Some items also come with enhanced/extended or lifetime warranties.

For example, DeWalt XR/Bosch power tools come with an extended 2 year warranty in addition to the standard one-year warranty (product registration is required which will be completed by Mills during the purchase process). NOTE: The two year warranty does not cover batteries and chargers; these are subject to normal warranty conditions. Please see the manufacturer’s website for full details.

Most Mills brand hand tools come with a lifetime guarantee - these items are specifically marked with a Mills MasterClass logo. Should any MasterClass product fail to give complete satisfaction or break during normal usage we will issues a free replacement.

In the unlikely event of any product fault, please complete the Tooling Warranty Claim Form on the Virgin Media Intranet and we will process your request as soon as possible. If the product is found to be faulty we will either repair or replace the item.
 

Disposal
Calibration Gas Cylinders:
If you have a calibration gas cylinder that you need to dispose of, we are able to arrange its collection and safe disposal. Gas cylinder collection is requested by ordering part GASDISPOSAL from the Gas Monitors section of this site.

Fire Extinguishers:
We are also able to arrange the collection and safe disposal of the 2Kg Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher. Simply order part FIREDISPOSAL from the Van Equipment > Safety section of this site.
