Full description

The Mills premier pit lifting key is like the classic key joint box No 5 but enhanced with an integral cleaning tool, quick change, batch numbered hook and magnetic counterbalance arms.

Available in a standard and extra-long version, extended by 150mm to suit taller engineers. The hook is secured by a simple tee key. The hook and tee key can be purchased separately and are compatible with Mills Classic No 5 Lifter and most other manufacturers' No 5 lifters.

Features:

Cleaning Tool – a wedge shaped key for cleaning around covers prior to opening, which neatly screws back into the handle for storage. (Can be reordered S13-5027)
Magnetic Counterbalance Arms – when in the closed position the arms are held to the body of the lifter by strong magnetic pads. Featuring a three rivet phosphor bronze edge strip, the arms can be purchased separately and are compatible with the Mills Classic No 5 Lifter and most other manufacturers' No 5 lifters. They can be easily retrofitted in minutes. (Can be reordered S13-1634)
Quick Change Hook – the No 5M and 5ML lifters benefit from a quick change batch numbered forged hook, which can be easily changed from forward to back position, allowing stubborn covers to be ‘cracked’. (Can be reordered S13-1796)
Two Lengths – available in Short No 5M (S13-1633) and Long Arm No 5ML (S13-1632)

An upgrade refurbishment kit is also available allowing you to service your old No 5 Lifter with a new set of magnetic arms and quick-change batch numbered hook – suitable for most current and legacy No 5 Lifters. (Can be reordered S13-4483)
