Mills Quintest Structured Cable Tester

A simple-to-use structured cabling tester which tests for shorted pairs, open pairs, crossed pairs, reversed pairs and indicates results with continually sequencing, bi-colour LEDs on both master and remote.

Two screened RJ45 sockets are provided, one wired for TIA468 A and B systems and the other for USOC.

The industry classic wiremap tester, known to many by the name of the Quimtest.

It features a continually sequencing green / red LED display on both main and remote units.

The product caters for the most frequently used functions needed by Network Installation Engineers, and can test UTP and STP patch cables as well as installed wiring.

Wire Map and Cable faults, including Short Circuit Pairs, Open Circuit Pairs, Shorts between Pairs, Pair Reversals, Transposed Pairs and other Cable Miswires are indicated.

Additional LED indicators show screen continuity, when testing STP cables, and provide warning of a low battery condition.

When not in use, the two halves of the QUIMTEST “snap” together by means of a magnetic clasp, providing protection against damage and automatically powering down.

Housed in a tough ABS plastic moulding, the QUIMTEST is designed and manufactured to international standards for quality, safety and reliability.
